Happy birthday this Wednesday, Uno!! At least there is something to celebrate this week after all. My beloved dog Duke died of a heart attack one year ago Thursday. He was a lab/shepherd/hound mix and a great snuggler. He was, we think, about 13 years old. I remember we were laying on the bed together watching Westminster and rejoicing when your name was called in '08. Beagles are AWESOME!! I was fascinated by Uno, being the owner of Sam, a male Beagle. I was elated when I was able to purchase a new Beagle puppy from one of Uno's former owners, Jon Woodring. "Sophie" is a lemon-colored Beagle, and her grandfather, Parker, is Uno's father. She is beautiful, and is becoming fast friends with Sam.
